Dr. Amigo is the medical director of Mid-Ohio Valley Lapband Center located at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He is a Board Certified general surgeon and a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. On the staff of Selby General Hospital, Marietta Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital, he has performed over 10,000 complex laparoscopic operations, including both the laparoscopic gastric bypass and the lapband procedure. Dr. Amigo was trained using the Allergan Lap-Band System by Dr. Brad Watkins of Cincinnati, Ohio.
